HOW IT HAPPENED
- The two teams played a scoreless first period before the Falcons got on the board midway through the second on a goal from senior Hannah Zobel (Reedsburg, Wis.). Zobel's first goal of the season was assisted by senior Katherine Pauletti (Roseville, Minn.).

- The Falcons put the game away in the third period with three goals. Senior Chelsea Regan (Oakdale, Minn.) made the score 2-0 with a goal 7:18 into the final stanza. Junior Brandi Muller (Anchorage, Alaska) and Pauletti assisted on the play.

- Holman's point came on the Falcons third goal as she picked up one of the assists on a goal from junior Veronika Metanova (Palatine, Ill.). Senior Lexi Machuga (Rochester Hills, Mich.) also assisted on the Metanova goal.

- The Falcons made it 4-0 13:05 into the final frame as senior Nina Puch (Des Plaines, Ill.) scored her second goal of the year. Freshmen Kristen Kennedy (London, Ontario) and Jossa Danis (Brandon, Manitoba) picked up assists on the final goal of the game.

- Freshman Christina Pattengale (Portage, Mich.) posted her second shutout of the season, the fourth time in program history one player has posted multiple shutouts in one season for the Falcons. Pattengale stopped 17 shots for her fifth win of the season.

BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Holman will have a chance tomorrow to break the consecutive games with a point mark. She tied Jamie Athens and has scored in every game since an early December series against St. Norbert. She leads the team with 23 points.

UP NEXT
