TUSCON, Ariz. – The Falcons got their first win of the season on Monday as they defeated Augsburg 6-3 in the second game of a doubleheader. The Auggies won the opener 6-5. 
THE BASICS

 -Records: Concordia Wisconsin 1-5, Augsburg 1-4
HOW IT HAPPENED
 -The Falcons scored five runs in their opening game loss. They rallied with a three-run fifth inning and added another in the sixth to even the game at 4-4, but the Auggies pulled ahead with a two-run seventh.
 -Austin Dart (Algoma, Wis.) led the Falcons in the opener, going 3-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI.
 -In the second game, Concordia Wisconsin found balance at the plate and on the mound, scoring six runs while allowing a season-low three to Augsburg.
 -The Falcons powered their way to victory in the fifth inning. After the first two batters grounded out and struck out, the Falcons put together a two-out four-run inning.
 -With men on first and second, Charlie Rodriguez (Tinley Park, Ill.) doubled down the left field line to drive in both baserunners.
 -Next, Dart doubled to right center to drive in Rodriguez.
 -Jared Chesak (West Bend, Wis.) followed with a single to center that scored Dart.
 -Spencer Garnett (Clarendon Hills, Ill.) earned the win for the Falcons, allowing only two runs on four hits with a strikeout in four innings pitched.
-Brett Kolacki (Midlothian, Ill.) earned the save, his first of the season.
