SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - The Falcons remain atop of the NACC North Division standings with a 1-0 victory at Lakeland on Sunday afternoon. The Blue and White have a 3-1-0 record halfway through the season.
The Falcons found the back of the net in the 25th minute off the boot of freshman Manual Brito (Chicago, Ill.) off a pass from sophomore Gilberto Gomez (Zion, Ill.).
Sophomore Mattson Wick (New Berlin, Wis.) had one save in the shutout victory.
The Falcons held a 10-2 shooting advantage on Sunday.
Junior Will King (Maidenhead, United Kingdom) and senior Paul Seydel (Portland, Ore.) both had two shots in the victory.
CUW opens the second half of the season on April 5 against Marian.
