ROCKFORD, Ill. – The CUW men's volleyball team picked up a 3-0 victory in the final road match of the regular season on Tuesday at Rockford. The Falcons bounced Rockford, 25-18, 25-15, 25-16 to improve 5-5 in the NACC.

The Falcons were able to hold a lead around five points for a majority of the first set. The Blue and White closed the set on a 3-0 run to take the set, 25-18.

The Falcons came out hot in the second set with a 6-1 lead and never looked back. CUW closed the set on an 11-5 run at 25-15.

Rockford opened the third set with a 6-2 lead, but the Falcons quickly took an 8-7 lead.

Leading 15-14, the Falcons blew the set away with a 10-2 run to take the match. The Falcons shattered four school records on Tuesday night.

CUW hit a program-record .459 against Rockford and freshman Spencer Herman (Appleton, Wis.) hit .615.

The Falcons also had a three-set record 40 assists, with senior Matthew Korman (Roscoe, Ill. collecting 35 of those.

The Blue and White are scheduled to close the regular season on Thursday at home against Concordia Chicago.
