Baseball Drops a Non-Conference Contest

LISLE, Ill. – The CUW baseball team dropped a non-conference game at Benedictine on Tuesday. The Falcons fell 12-2 to move to 19-14 on the season.

The Falcons were the first team on the scoreboard on Tuesday evening.

In the first inning, junior Sean Tillmon (Plainfield, Ill.) smacked a double to right field to score senior Blake Gosswein (Barrington, Ill.).

Tillmon then scored on a double from senior Drew Johnson (Menasha, Wis.) to right field.

Blake Gosswein, Sean Tillmon, Drew Johnson and sophomore Cade Jahns (Ripon, Wis.) all recorded a hit on Tuesday.

CUW closes the home portion of the regular season against Wisconsin Lutheran.
