AURORA, Ill. – The Spartans came out on top of the battle for the NACC crown on Saturday in a matchup for the automatic bid for the NCAA Division III Tournament. The Black and Blue completed the sweep of the NACC with a 42-0 victory.

The Falcons held the Spartans scoreless in the fourth quarter on Saturday.

Senior James Linn (Chino Hills, Calif.) led the Falcons offensively through the air with 125 yards, with 54 yards going to junior Samuel Campbell Jr. (Milwaukee, Wis.) on Saturday.

Junior Ashar Thomas (Punta Gorda, Fla.) led the flock with 26 yards on the ground.

Sophomore Gio Nowotarski (Reading, Pa._ had an interception for 12 yards.

Sophomore Justice Kaneta (Brighton, Colo.) led the game with 18 total tackles.

The Falcons will now wait to see if they are selected to compete in the Cousins Subs Lakefront Bowl. The selections will be made immediately following the NCAA Division III Selection Show on Sunday evening.
