MEQUON, Ill. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's soccer team fell, 3-2, to Dominican University in a close NACC match up. The Falcons are now, 1-6-3, on the year and, 0-3-1, in conference play.

CUW found the net 30 minutes into the contest with a solo shot from sophomore
Jahsiah Acosta (Milwaukee, Wis.). Acosta went on to lead the team in shots with four and shots on goal with two.

The intensity picked up once both teams returned from halftime. The Stars scored their first goal of the game at the 59-minute mark. The Falcons returned with a goal of their own less than a minutes later. Freshman
Nathan Green (St. Louis, Mo.) secured his first career goal to give Concordia the advantage. Fellow freshman
Jonah Kinsey (Cedarburg, Wis.) earned the assist on the play, his first of his career.

Dominican tied the game five minutes later and followed with a goal in the 83rd minute to secure their win.

Connor Fitch (Eaton, Ohio) made his fourth start of his career as the netminder for the Falcons. Fitch collected four saves in 19 shots faced. On offense,
Mateo Nabben finished with three shots, two of which were on goal.

The Falcons will finish their three-game homestead against Edgewood on Saturday, Oct. 4. The conference game is slated to begin at 3:00 p.m. at Fitting Field.
