MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's soccer team was shut out by St. Norbert, 2-0, on Saturday afternoon. With three games left in the regular season the Falcons are now, 3-9-3 on the year and 2-6-1 in NACC play.

Despite the results the squad had a reason to celebrate. During halftime former head coach Dr.
Tom Saleska was honored for being inducted in the Concordia Wisconsin Athletics Hall of Fame. Dr. Saleska lead the Falcons for 26 years and finished with a record of 324-156-43.

The Knights offense took control of the match quickly maintaining control of the ball for a majority of the contest. CUW struggled on offense with only four of their 13 shots being on goal. Leading the team in shots was freshman
Matthew Payne (Franklin, Ind.) with three, four Falcons had two shots each.

In goal for the Royal Blue and Grey was senior
Enrique Torres (Eau Claire, Wis.). Torres collected five saves in 16 shots faced.

The Falcons will return to Fitting Field on Wednesday to celebrate senior day. The team will honor their seniors prior to their matchup against Illinois Tech at 1 p.m.
