MEQUON, Wis. – On Wednesday morning, the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its cross country weekly honors. Isaiah Lubner was once again voted as the NACC Student-Athlete of the Week for men's cross country by the league's athletic communications professionals.
A junior from Campbellsport, Wisconsin, Isaiah Lubner is claiming his third honor of the season. This is the fourth time that he has been honored by the conference. Lubner also claimed the honor on Sept. 17 after his Ken Weidt Classic and Oct. 8 after the Blugold classic.
Lubner claimed the individual title at the Wisconsin Private College Championships with a career-best time of 25:43.2, more than a minute better than the rest of the field.
He leads the conference as the only three-time winner of the season.
Lubner and the Falcons return to action on Nov. 1 at the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championships.
