MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) released its 2025-26 Women's Hockey Preseason Coaches Poll on Wednesday afternoon.
The Concordia Wisconsin women's hockey team was picked to finish in third place in the 2025-26 race.
The Falcons earned 78 points in the preseason poll.
The Bulldogs of Adrian College edged St. Norbert for the top spot with 94 points and five first-place votes.
St. Norbert secured 93 points and four first-place votes.
Lake Forest also collected a first-place vote in fourth place at 70 points.
The Falcons are coming off the most successful season in program history. The Birds posted a 20-7-1 record and advanced to the NCHA Slaats Cup Semifinals at Adrian. CUW finished in third place in the conference at 13-4-1.
Last year, the Falcons were projected to finish in fifth place in the preseason poll.
Concordia Wisconsin drops the puck on the 2025-26 season on Oct. 31 against Saint Mary's of Minnesota.
The NCHA season begins on Nov. 7 at Trine.
