MEQUON, Wis. - The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) has announced the members of the women's NCHA All-Academic Teams for the 2024-25 school year.
To qualify for the NCHA All-Academic Team, a student-athlete needs to have a 3.30 cumulative grade point average or higher. Freshmen were eligible for the first time this year and must have attended the same institution for both semesters.
In all, a league record 169 women's hockey student-athletes were honored across the NCHA. On the women's side, Concordia Wisconsin and Trine set a single-season record with 21.
The Falcons had six student-athletes claim the honor for the third time with seniors Lilly Casher (Grayslake, Ill.), Brooke Gibson (LaSalle, Ontario), Erika Graham (Brighton, Mich.), Natalie Mackrell (Florissant, Colo.), Kami McCardle (Jackson, Wis.), and Cheree Peters (Vernon, B.C.).
Junior Hailey Calliguri (Lonsdale, Minn.) and junior Charlotte Toor (Hartland, Mich.) are making their second appearance.
Senior Amanda Bauer (Waunakee, Wis.), sophomore Naomi Black (Ottawa, Ontario), sophomore Carolyn Bourgeault (Buffalo, N.Y.), freshman Gabby Cicirello (Mequon, Wis.), sophomore Brenna-Grace Dittmer (Chatham-Kent, Ontario), freshman Sydney Fergusson (Bancroft, Ontario), freshman Taylor Heleniak (Mercer, Wis.), senior Savannah Hutchins (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.), sophomore Ava Litkey (Kenosha, Wis.), senior Ashlyn Marshall (Vail, Colo.), sophomore Mackaylan McGown (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.), freshman Gretchen Paaverud (Ramsey, Minn.) and freshman Scout Stromberg (Tomahawk, Wis.) are all making their first All-Academic Team.
