Emma Ahrens Represents CUW at NCAA Championships

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The 2025 NCAA Division III women's cross country season came to an end on Saturday at the NCAA Championships in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The Concordia Wisconsin women's cross country team was once again represented at the biggest stage.

Junior Emma Ahrens (Stephens City, Va.) represented the Falcons and ran well to finish in 58th place.

Ahrens crossed the finish line at 22:18.9 in the six-kilometer race.

The Falcon was in 217th place after the first kilometer and 118th place after the second kilometer, but made the jump to 69 after the third and elevated to 58th place after the fourth.

Saturday marked the fifth time that a Falcon has competed in the race. Joining Amanda Kuca (2003, 2004, 2005) and Ainara Sainz de Rozas (2024).

Audrey Maclean was the individual champion at 20:16.8 and New York University ran away with the team title at 79 points.
