MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's basketball team dropped an exhibition matchup to NCAA Division II Northern Michigan on Saturday, falling 87-35.
Junior
Javanni Blackman (Milwaukee, Wis.) paced the Falcons with eight points on 4-of-9 shooting while adding a team-high three assists. Juniors
Jaden Guyton (Whitefish Bay, Wis.) and Casey Verhagan (Sheboygan, Wis.) chipped in six points apiece.
Freshmen
Ryan Heckman (Sussex, Wis.) and
Asher Rozowski (Chippewa Falls, Wis.) and sophomore
Carter Schwartz (Horicon, Wis.) made their collegiate debuts. Junior
Elijah White (Sheboygan, Wis.) and senior
Will Bauer (New Berlin, Wis.) also saw their first action of the season. Rozowski recorded his first career points, knocking down a three-pointer in the final minutes.
Concordia Wisconsin returns to NACC play on Sunday, Dec. 14, at Aurora. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. at Thornton Gymnasium in Aurora, Ill.
