MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's hockey team battled the 12th-ranked Bulldogs of Adrian College on Friday night. The Bulldogs got the best of the Falcons with an 8-0 victory. Concordia Wisconsin moves to 11-11-0 on the year and 6-9 in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association.
The Bulldogs peppered the Concordia net in the first period aided by two power plays and junior Gabe Rosek (East Lansing, Mich.) had 19 saves in the first period.
Adrian broke onto the scoreboard in the final minute of the first period with a shot from in front of the goal.
The Bulldogs added five more goals in the second period.
Gabe Rosek finished with 30 saves in 40 minutes.
Sophomore Blake Hazelton (Lake Orion, Mich.) had 18 saves in the third period.
No. 12 Adrian held a 56-29 advantage in shots.
The Falcons stopped the top-ranked power play unit after fighting off all five power plays.
