Falcons Wrap Up Action From North Central

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Concordia University Wisconsin men's track and field team concluded competition at the North Central 1st Chance Invite with several strong performances.

In the 4x100 meter relay, the Falcons' team of freshman Victor Watson Jr. (Cypress, Texas), sophomore Se'Korrey Thomas (Punta Gorda, Fla.), freshman Brock Roseman (Pueblo, Colo.), and junior Jalen Pressley (Leesburg, Fla.) finished with a time of 43.98 seconds.

Meanwhile, in the 4x400 relay, the team of Brock Roseman, freshman Lucas Mathes (Brillion, Wis.), sophomore Zach Wendland (Green Bay, Wis.), and sophomore Isaiah Lubner Isaiah Lubner (Campbellsport, Wis.) took fourth overall with a time of 3:25.07. 

Isaiah Lubner also delivered an impressive performance in the 1500-meter, finishing ninth out of 108 competitors with a time of 4:04.97. Senior Zach Leahy (West Dundee, Ill.) was also near the top of the leaderboard, compiling a time of 4:09.34 for 13th overall.

Junior Brandon Donahue (Hubertus, Wis.) led the Falcons in the 110-meter hurdles, placing 15th with a time of 16.53 seconds.

In the 100-meter, freshman Lucas Mathes crossed the finish line in 11.92 seconds.

Sophomore Josh Sipes (Charleston, Ill.) posted a strong performance in the 400-meter hurdles, taking seventh overall, with a time of 58.81 seconds.

The Falcons also saw success in the pole vault, with Zach Wendland clearing a height of 3.35 meters.

In the long jump, junior Nick Taylor (West Bend, Wis.) posted a mark of 5.29 meters, leading the Falcons, while Mathes led CUW in the triple jump with a 13th-place finish and a leap of 12.56 meters.

Freshman Hayden Kettmann (Beecher, Ill.) led the Falcons in the discus, throwing 36.86 meters to finish 15th. Kettman also posted a solid performance in the shot put, recording a throw of 13.08 meters.

In the javelin, senior Holter Gette (Batavia, Ill.) earned a fifth-place finish with a throw of 44.64 meters, while freshman Justin Clark (Goodyear, Ariz.) followed closely in seventh with a throw of 44.25 meters.

Looking ahead, the Falcons will compete at the Wisconsin Private University Championships next Saturday.
