NEENAH, Wis. – On Sunday, the Concordia Wisconsin women's tennis team took on Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Olivet Nazarene. The Falcons fell with a pair of 6-1 losses to move to 5-14 on the year.
Concordia started the morning against the Pointers of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
The Falcons picked up a victory at No. 1 doubles. The team of junior Maddie Brashaw (Sheboygan, Wis.) and senior Peyton Morgan (Arlington Heights, Ill.) won, 6-2.
CUW closed the day against NAIA's Olivet Nazarene.
Junior Abby Schwartz (Brookfield, Wis.) snagged a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Olivia Bonnivier at No. 6 singles.
Sophomore Payton Steward (Appleton, Wis.) forced a third-set tiebreaker with a 6-4 victory in the second set at No. 5 singles.
The Blue and White have one last tune-up before the NACC Tournament when they host Carthage on April 9.
