MEQUON, Wis. – On Tuesday afternoon, the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its all-conference teams and major award winners for the 2024-25 men's basketball season. The Concordia Wisconsin men's basketball team landed two selections on the All-NACC First Team with Logan Landers and Casey Verhagen.
This is the first time that the Falcons have had two honored on the All-NACC First Team since the 2019-20 season when Jordan Johnson and Jared Jurss secured the honor.
Logan Landers
Logan Landers, a junior forward from Cedarburg, Wisconsin, earned his first All-NACC selection. Landers finished third in the conference in scoring, averaging 19.80 points per game for a total of 495 points. He also tied for second in rebounding, grabbing 9.00 rebounds per game, including 7.60 defensive rebounds per game. With 225 total rebounds, Landers now ranks third in CUW men's basketball program history for rebounds in a single season. He recorded nine double-doubles throughout the year and posted a season-high 35 points against Rockford. His 0.543 field goal percentage ranked fifth in the NACC, while his 0.834 free throw percentage also placed him fifth. Landers set a season-high in free throws made with 17 against Rockford, marking the most by any player in a single NACC game this year.
Casey Verhagen
Casey Verhagen, a sophomore guard from Sheboygan, Wisconsin, also earned his first All-NACC honor. Verhagen finished second in the NACC in scoring, averaging 20.04 points per game and reaching double figures in every contest. He also ranked eighth in field goal percentage at 0.496. Verhagen totaled 541 points on the season, ranking him second in CUW men's basketball program history for points in a single season and making him just the third player in program history to surpass the 500-point mark in a single season. Additionally, he ranked second in the NACC in assists, averaging 5.22 per game, and fifth in steals with 1.85 per game. Verhagen led the conference with 157 made free throws, setting a new program record for free throws in a season, surpassing the previous mark of 150. His 44-point performance against Lakeland was the highest single-game scoring effort in the NACC this year. In that game, he also recorded his first double-double, adding 10 assists to his 44-point performance.
The Falcons finished fourth in the NACC with a record of 11-7.
