ORLANDO, Fla. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's tennis team finished up spring break play on Tuesday against Trine and Anderson. The Thunder rolled to a 6-1 victory and Anderson escaped with a 4-3 win to send the Falcons to 5-12.
Sophomore Payton Steward (Appleton, Wis.) picked up the lone point for the Falcons at No. 6 singles with a 1-6, 6-3, 10-6 victory.
The Falcons secured the doubles point against the Ravens to start the match. Senior Peyton Morgan (Arlington Heights, Ill.) and junior Maddie Brashaw (Sheboygan, Wis.) won at No. 1 doubles, 7-5.
Sophomore Morgan Chyla (Salem Lakes, Wis.) and Payton Stewart also snagged a 7-5 victory at No. 2 doubles.
Peyton Morgan sank Morgan Nation at No. 1 singles, 6-3, 6-1.
Payton Steward silenced Ella Maiden at No. 6 singles, 6-3, 4-6, 10-2.
The Falcons will face Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Olivet Nazarene on March 30.
