MEQUON, Wis. – The Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) announced its 2025 All-Region Honors on Monday evening. Senior attackman Max Esposito was voted to the Region Five First Team.
This is the third time in the storied career of Max Esposito that he has claimed the honor. The star from Gaithersburg, Maryland, claimed second-team honors in 2024 and honorable mention honors in 2023 from the organization.
Esposito had the honors rolling in once again this offseason. Once again, claiming All-America Honorable Mention honors from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) and Lacrosse Magazine. He also claimed All-Region honors from the USILA. In the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference, he was voted the NACC Offensive Player of the Year for the third consecutive season and claimed All-Conference First Team honors.
He finished his storied career as a record holder of many records for CUW and the NACC. He once again soared to new heights in 2025, leading the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference in both points per game at 5.60 and assists per game at 3.75. Nationally, he ranked ninth in both categories.
Esposito started all 20 games for the Blue and White and finished with 49 goals and 63 assists for 112 points. He recorded seven hat tricks and six games with five or more assists, while adding 31 ground balls and eight caused turnovers.
Among his top performances, he dished out eight assists against Carroll on April 7 and registered nine points in a win over Beloit on April 12.
Joining Esposito on the first team at attack was Eli Spencer of Elmhurst and Henry Ross of Ohio Wesleyan. On the second team was Michael Jonas of Adrian, Tommy Quinson of Denison and Wade Beckstrom of Ohio Wesleyan. Adrian Welch of Transylvania, Andrew Johnson of Carthage and Timothy McHigh of Illinois Wesleyan were honorable mention.
The first team at midfield consisted of Jack Hines of Denison, Gage Black of Illinois Wesleyan and Joey Wiseman of Ohio Wesleyan. At defense were Wes Silver of Ohio Wesleyan, Cameron Reed of Adrian, and Charlie Haight of Denison. Anthony Fresolone of Ohio Wesleyan was the long stick midfielder, AJ Boxler of Denison was the short stick defensive midfielder, Tony Vazquez of Elmhurst was the faceoff specialist and Andrew Albert of Denison was the goalie.
