MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin women's tennis team opened their fall slate of the 2025-26 season by hosting Carrol. The Falcons lost to the Pioneers, 0-7.
 
Doubles team Payton Steward and Taylor Weiner did win their match 6-2. Katelyn de Guzman and Abigail Haley did not let their appoints run away with the match, only falling 4-6.
 
The most competitive matches came from Taylor Weiner and Abigail Haley. Weiner battled against her opponent, Gracie Niebler, falling 4-6 and 1-6. Haley faced Makayla Counsell, falling 3-6, 6-2.
 
The Falcons will open NACC play against St. Norbert on Wednesday, Sept. 10 on their home courts. The match is set to begin at 4:00 p.m.
