MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's soccer team welcomed one of the most storied programs in the Midwest to the shores of Lake Michigan on Wednesday. The Duhawks of Loras picked up a 5-1 victory to send the Falcons to 1-2-1 on the young season
Sophomore Matteo Nabben (Belle River, Ontario) struck first from six yards out when he snuck the bal into the lower left corner off a pass from freshman Ronan Kessler (Glenview, Ill.).
The Duhawks tied the match in the 32nd minute after winning a race to the ball.
Loras then broke the tie seven minutes later and took a 2-1 lead into halftime.
The Purple and Gold scored thee more goals in the second half to secure the win.
Freshman Connor Fitch (Eau Claire, Wis.) finished with seven saves in his first collegiate start.
Loras held a 23-8 advantage in shots.
The Falcons look to bounce back on Saturday at Beloit.
