ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Concordia Wisconsin field hockey team faced Maryville of NCAA Division II on Sunday afternoon. The Saints improved to 4-1 with a 9-0 victory.
Maryville held a majority of the possession and held a 51-2 advantage in shots and 15-1 margin in penalty corners.
Sophomore Naomi Little (Hartland, Wis.) had both of the Concordia shots on Sunday, including one on goal.
The CUW goalies came up with 27 saves, with junior Parks Cawthray (Oakville, Ontario) collecting 17 and sophomore Carlijn van der Bend (Voorburg, Netherlands) with 10.
Concordia Wisconsin returns to action on Sunday at home against Marian in a non-conference home game.
