MEQUON, Wis. – On Wednesday morning, the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Student-Athletes of the Week for Women's Track & Field. The league's athletic communications professional voted Kate Kotula as the Field Athlete of the Week.
A senior from Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, Kate Kotula is claiming the honor for the first time in her career.
Kotula posted a solid weekend at the North Central Heenan Invitational. She finished third in the triple jump at 10.39 meters. The Pennsylvania native was also finished sixth in the pole vault competition at 3.07 meters.
Madison Gramblicka of St. Norbert was named the Track Athlete of the Week.
Kotula and the Falcons return to action on Saturday at the Aurora Grand Prix.
