MEQUON, Wis. – On Wednesday afternoon, the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) released its 2026 Softball Preseason Poll and the Falcons are once again projected to be in the hunt for the NACC title.
The preseason poll is voted on by the NACC softball head coaches along with the sports information directors from the institutions that sponsor the sport.
The Falcons are projected to defend their title in first place with 321 points and 14 first-place votes.
Benedictine was selected second with 306 points and eight first-place votes.
Dominican collected four first-place votes with 298 points in third place.
Aurora and MSOE rounded out the top five with 224 and 223 points.
Last year, Concordia Wisconsin claimed the NACC Regular Season title on the final day of the season with victories over Concordia Chicago to finish with a 19-5 record.
The Blue and White then posted victories over MSOE and Benedictine to claim the NACC Tournament title.
Concordia finished the season in the NCAA Regional Semifinals with a 32-13 record.
The Falcons open the season on Saturday in Minnesota against Hamline.
The NACC portion of the season begins on March 21 at Dominican.
