PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Concordia University Wisconsin baseball team fell to Trinity College in its final game at the Pensacola Challenge on Sunday afternoon. The loss snapped the Falcons' four-game winning streak as they moved to 4-9 on the season.
Sunday's matchup marked just the second meeting between the two programs, with the previous contest coming in 2013 when the Bantams also earned the victory.
The Falcons were held scoreless through the first five innings while Trinity built a 5-0 lead. CUW responded in the sixth inning with a five-run rally to even the score.
The Falcons quickly loaded the bases as sophomore
Graham Kasten (Mequon, Wis.) drew a walk, junior
Connor Lasch (Chicago, Ill.) was hit by a pitch and freshman
Jack Anzelmo (Appleton, Wis.) singled. Senior

Cameron Bueno (Milwaukee, Wis.) followed with a bases-loaded walk to plate another.
Later in the inning, senior
Brandon McCray (Corona, Claif.) delivered an RBI single and freshman
Mick Vagner (Crown Point, Ind.) lifted a sacrifice fly to right field, helping Concordia Wisconsin complete the five-run frame and tie the game at 5-5.
The contest remained deadlocked until the ninth inning when Trinity pushed across the go-ahead run to secure the 6-5 win.
Vagner led the team with the sole double of the contest, while also stealing a base. Freshman
Jameson Dick (Chesapeake, Va.) also secured a stolen base against the Bantams.
Freshman
Jack Stuck (Bayside, Wis.) made the start on the mound for the Falcons, while freshman
