MEQUON, Wis. – On Tuesday morning, the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Student-Athlete of the Week honors for softball. The league's athletic communications professionals voted Faith Keiper as the NACC Pitcher of the Week.

A freshman pitcher, from Tomball, Texas, Faith Keiper is claiming the honor for the second time in her young career.

The pride of Tomball silenced the Stars of Dominican in two games on Saturday.

Keiper collected two victories in the circle in a battle of the reigning NACC champions.

In game one, she struck out four batters in the start and held the Stars to two runs.

She came in relief in game two and pitched over five innings, where she had zero earned runs and had four strikeouts.

The fantastic freshman also claimed the honor on Feb. 24 after her performance in Minnesota.

Morgan Bruno of Benedictine was selected as the Position Player of the Week.

Keiper and the Falcons return to action on Wednesday, when Loras comes to the shores of Lake Michigan.
