MEQUON, Wis. – On Wednesday morning, the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Student-Athlete of the Wek honors for Men's Lacrosse. The league's athletic communications professionals voted two Falcons for the honors with Bryce Petersen and Nolan O'Malley.
A junior attackman from Waukesha, Wisconsin, Bryce Petersen is snagging the NACC Offensive Player of the Week honor for the first time this season and for the third time in his career.
He opened the week with three goals in the victory over North Central and picked up a ground ball.
At Washington & Jefferson, he scored five goals and two assists and also had a ground ball.
A sophomore goaltender from Chicago, Illinois, Nolan O'Malley is named the NACC Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career.
In the 13-4 victory over North Central, he posted 21 saves and picked up a ground ball.
He followed that up with nine saves in the 22-3 victory at Washington & Jefferson.
