ORLANDO, Fla. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's tennis team closed the book on spring break play on Friday morning. The Falcons faced the Scots of Alma, but fell, 0-7. The Blue and White are now 6-11 on the season.
The lone victory of the day came at No. 2 doubles for the Falcons. The team of sophomore Katelyn de Guzman (Belvidere, Ill.) and freshman Abigail Haley (Frohna, Mo.) picked up a 6-2 victory.
At No. 3 singles, Abigail Haley forced a third-set tiebreaker, but fell, 8-10.
Freshman Samantha Mudra (Hartford, Wis.) also played a third-set tiebreaker on court six on Friday, but fell short.
The Falcons will be back in action on March 20 at Carthage.
