RIPON, Wis. – Two Falcons represented the Concordia University Wisconsin men's track and field team at the Ripon Final Qualifier on Saturday, aiming to record marks that could qualify them for the NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Freshman
Josh Kribs (Green Bay, Wis.) competed in the men's long jump. His opening jump of 5.79 meters advanced him to the finals, and he improved on his final attempt with a mark of 5.93 meters to place ninth.
Junior
Aaron Klug (Arlington, Va.) competed in the men's triple jump and finished fifth overall. Klug recorded his best mark of the day on his fourth attempt, reaching 12.00 meters.
The Falcons will now await the official selections for the national championships in Birmingham, Alabama. The NCAA will announce the qualifiers on Sunday, March 8 at 7 p.m. ET on NCAA.com.
