MEQUON, Wis. – On Wednesday morning, the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) released its Student-Athlete of the Week honors for softball. The league's athletic communications professionals once again voted Riley DuVal as the NACC Position Player of the Week for her performances against Rockford and Carroll.
A senior third-baseman from Elgin, Illinois, Rylie DuVal is claiming the honor for the second time this season and for the first time since March 3.
DuVal had a hit in all four games this week, including two hits in all but one contest.
In game two at Carroll, she drove in four RBI in the victory, with a season-best two doubles.
In the field, she did not commit an error during the week at the hot corner.
Mckenzie Johnson of Benedictine was selected as the NACC Pitcher of the Week.
DuVal and the Falcons return to action on Wednesday against Aurora.
