MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) released its Student-Athlete of the Week honors for women's lacrosse on Thursday morning. The league's athletic communications professionals once again honored Katelyn Cardinale for her performances in a pair of NACC victories over Illinois Tech and Beloit.
A senior attacker from Mount Laurel, New Jersey, Katelyn Cardinale is claiming the offensive honor for the third time this season and seventh time in her career.
Cardinale started the week with seven goals and three assists to go with her fiveground balls and seven draw controls against Illinois Tech
On Saturday, she bashed Beloit with five goals and two assists, with two ground balls and three draw controls.
Sarah Brown of Aurora was voted as the NACC Defensive Player of the Week.
Cardinale and the Falcons return to action Saturday against Lake Forest.
