Falcons Post Best Finish at NACC Championships in Seven Years

WAUKESHA, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin men's track & field team delivered its strongest performance in nearly a decade, soaring to a third-place finish at the 2026 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Outdoor Championships.

The Falcons totaled 100 points, marking their highest finish since also placing third in 2017 and their most points scored at the outdoor championships since 2022.

Leading the charge was junior Zach Wendland, who earned NACC Track Athlete of the Meet honors after an outstanding all-around performance. Wendland competed in four events — the 400-meter dash, 110-meter hurdles, 400-meter hurdles, and the 4x400-meter relay — and made his presence felt in each.

He highlighted his weekend with a conference title in the 400-meter hurdles, crossing the line in 54.08. Junior Josh Sipes (Charleston, Ill.) added depth in the event with an eighth-place finish (1:02.19).
