MEQUON, Wis. – The postseason accolades continue to roll in for the Concordia University Wisconsin baseball program, as junior catcher Connor Lasch was named to the D3Baseball.com All-Region VIII Third Team, the organization announced Tuesday morning.
Lasch, a native of Chicago, Illinois, garners his first career All-Region selection following a standout junior campaign in the blue and white. His recognition places him among the top performers in Region VIII and caps off an impressive season both offensively and defensively.
Earlier this month, Lasch also earned All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Second Team honors, further solidifying his impact within the league.
At the plate, Lasch was a consistent force in the Falcons lineup, hitting a blistering .397 while leading the team with 52 hits. He added 27 RBI and 25 runs scored, while showcasing extra-base power with 10 doubles, a triple, and two home runs. His disciplined approach was evident in his 11 walks, helping anchor the offense throughout the season.
Defensively, Lasch was equally valuable behind the dish. He threw out 15 would-be base stealers, demonstrating his arm strength and game management while serving as a steady presence for the Falcons pitching staff.
The 2026 season marks the 14th year that D3Baseball.com has released All-Region teams. More than 1,000 student-athletes were nominated across the country, with selections voted on by the organization's staff and regional contributors to form three teams in each region.
