LEXINGTON, Ky. - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2026 men's volleyball season presented by INTENT.
In total, a record of 1,400 teams have earned the AVCA Team Academic Award presented by INTENT for the 2025-26 season.
"It comes as no surprise to see our sport have more than 1,400 teams earn the AVCA Team Academic Award again this season," said AVCA CEO Jaime Gordon. "We are grateful for the dedication of the coaches and players who make both classroom and on-court success the lifeblood of their programs."
The award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale or 4.10 on a 5.0 scale.
Concordia Wisconsin is claiming the honor for the fourth consecutive season and for the fifth time in program history, the first coming in 2020.
