Nick Klein Voted NACC Special Teams Player of the Week

MEQUON, Wis. - Senior Nick Klein was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Special Teams Player of the Week on Tuesday morning, as voted on by the league's athletic communications professionals.

The kicker went 2-for-2 on field goal attempts in the Falcons' 48-13 win against the Martin Luther College Knights on Saturday, including a 36-yard kick that marked the second-longest field goal of his career.

In 10 kickoff attempts, the Rome City, Indiana native totaled 442 yards. Klein also converted all six of his extra-point attempts.

This marks the third time in Klein's career that he has earned this weekly award.

The Birds will host the Aurora Spartans on Saturday at 1 p.m. CST.
