2013 Season (Junior): Made 10 appearances on the mound, including nine starts...Threw 43 innings and posted a 3-4 record...Struck out 30 batters, good for a 6.28 strikeouts per game ratio...Finished with a 6.49 ERA...Recorded one save...Threw seven innings and allowed one earned run, while striking out seven in win over MSOE (Apr. 7)...Punched out a season-best eight batters while allowing no earned runs against Western Connecticut State University (Mar. 27)...Earned win over Wisconsin Lutheran College (Apr. 3) allowing two earned and striking out five in seven innings...Defeated Lakeland College (Apr. 14) throwing six innings...Earned save against Edgewood College (Mar. 30).
2012 Season (Sophomore): Austin appeared on the mound in nine games, making eight starts for the Falcons... Posted a 3-4 record with a 3.74 ERA... Threw one complete game... He struck out 34 batters in 43.1 innings of work...Picked up the victory after throwing eight innings of six-hit ball with 10 strikeouts against Wisconsin Lutheran College (April 1)...Threw 8.1 scoreless innings, striking out eight in a victory over Lakeland College (April 15).
2011 Season (Freshman): Austin appeared on the mound in 10 games, making four starts for the Falcons.. Posted a 1-4 record with a 7.18 ERA... He struck out 16 batters in 26 innings of work.
High School (Lutheran High School Westland): Was a 1st-team all-conference baseball performer as well as a conference MVP...Holds multiple records for career hits, runs, and doubles as well as single-season hits, runs, doubles, and batting average... Also earned all-conference honors in basketball and soccer...Lettered a total of 10 times in baseball, basketball, and soccer.
Personal: Son of Tim and Sue Baglow...Has one brother, Ryan, who also plays on the baseball team... His 2nd cousin, David Booth, plays in the NHL for the Vancouver Canucks.
