2013 Season (Sophomore): Appeared in nine games on the mound, making four starts...Posted a 1-2 record...Struck out 19 batters compared to just four walks...Finished with a 7.07 ERA...Threw a complete game shutout against Maranatha Baptist Bible College (Apr. 13), scattering seven hits and striking out a career-best seven...Threw seven innings and allowed two runs against Aurora University (Apr. 20)...Threw one inning of scoreless relief versus Finlandia University (Apr. 15).
2012 Season (Freshman): Made 10 appearances on the mound...Posted a 4.82 ERA in 9.1 innings of work...Threw three innings allowing zero runs against Aurora University April 21...Threw a scoreless inning of relief against University of Wisconsin-Whitewater May 8.
2011 Season (Freshman, Marian University): Was a member of the Marian University Sabres baseball team.
High School (Cedarburg High School): Earned varsity letters in both baseball and swimming... Received all-conference and all-state honors for swimming... As a pitcher for Cedarburg he recorded a 4.20 ERA.
Personal: Son of Scott and Lynn Winter... Has two younger brothers, Kevin and John.
