Taylor is in his second season as the Defensive Graduate Assistant for the CUW football program.
A native of Glendale, Arizona, Taylor graduated from Cactus High School in 2017, where he played defensive and offensive lines while attending. Most recently, he coached at Cactus as an assistant coach working with both lines and special teams as the team won a region championship and was state-runner-ups in the 5A State Championship.
While attending CUW, he played both offensive and defensive line over four years and was voted team captain in his final season. Also, during his time as a player, Taylor received all-conference scholar-athlete honors and won the Pancake Award. He graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's in Sports Entertainment and Business in 2020.
