Velazquez Graduated from Milwaukee Vincent High School in 2002, where he was a state champion in track and field. Finishing his track career as a three-time 4x100, and 4x200 state champion. He attended Wisconsin Lutheran College from 2002-2004 where he played wide receiver and kick/punt returner. 

From 2004-2020, he played semi-pro football for Milwaukee-based clubs including the Milwaukee Rattlers, Racine Raiders, and Wisconsin Hitmen. He earned First Team All-League honors on 15 separate occasions. In 2004 and 2005, he was named the Ultimate Football League MVP and league champion. In 2016, he was a Wisconsin State Football League champion (Mariners) and was also a 2021 Florida Bowl showcase game champion. (AFE USA all-stars)
 
Velazquez is a current member of the American Football events team USA all-stars where he travels the country competing against the world's best minor league players. He also does fellowship work in the communities and raises money for the less fortunate and teaches the game of football by hosting various football camps.
 
He was also a wide receiver and track and field coach for Brown Deer High School for three seasons and was also the head track and field coach from 2007-2009 at Hope High School in Milwaukee. 
 
Velazquez resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he was born and raised, and is a father of four daughters.Â
