MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Student-Athlete of the Week honors for football on Tuesday morning. Jason Leonard was voted as the NACC Offensive Player of the Week by the league's athletic communications professionals.
A senior wide receiver from Tampa, Florida, Jason Leonard is claiming the honor for the first time in his career.
Leonard scored 26 points with four touchdowns and a two-point conversion at Concordia Chicago on Saturday.
He finished the game with 138 yards on eight catches against the Cougars.
Jack Diamantos of Benedictine was voted the Defensive Player of the Week and Tyler Juergensen of St. Norbert was the Special Teams Player of the Week.
This is the seventh time this season that a Falcons has been honored by the conference.
Leonard and the Falcons return to action on Saturday against Rockford.
