CLINTON, Ill. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's triathlon team closed the weekend on Saturday morning at the Prairie State Cup against student-athletes from NCAA Divisions I, II and III.
Junior Anya Mattke (Fox Point, Wis.) led the Falcons in 82nd place at 1:24:48. She started the day with a time of 16:00 in the swim, 38:07 in the bike and 29:31 in the run.
Sophomore Kiera Elliott (Andover, Minn.) had an excellent race on Saturday in 83rd place at 1:25:14. Elliott ended the swim at 4-:41, the bike portion at 28:37 and the run at 28:37.
Junior Sydney Morgan (Brandon, Wis.) was in 87th place at 1:26:44. She ended the swim at 18:19, the bike race at 41:26 and the run at 25:39.
Senior Darya Gunderman (Minneapolis, Minn.) place 89th on the day at 1:27:33. Gunderman Finished the swim at 18:01, while posting a bike time of 40:18 and a run time of 27:49.
Junior Cadia Sanders (Joppa, Md.) crossed the finish line at 1:29:00 in 91st place. The Maryland native ended the swim at 17:25, her bike at 40:35 and her run at 29:40.
Senior Nora Triller (Hartford, Wis.) landed in 99th place at 1:34:59. She reached the shore at 15:41 on Saturday and went 48:31 in the bike portion of the race and had a speedy run at 29:03.
Freshman Allison Triller (Hartford, Wis.) finished shortly behind in 101st place at 1:35:43. Triller tallied a swim time of 17:39, a bike time of 46:07 and a running time of 29:54.
The Falcons return to action on October 25 at the USA Triathlon West Regional Championships in Fort Worth, Texas.
