MEQUON, Wis. – The College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its 2025 Academic All-District® Men's Soccer teams on Tuesday, recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for outstanding combined achievement in athletics and academics. The program honors men's soccer student-athletes across four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
For the second consecutive year, Concordia University Wisconsin senior defender Sam Butterfield has earned a place on the Academic All-District® team. A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Butterfield continued to be a key contributor for the Falcons throughout the 2025 season, recording an assist against Wisconsin–Stevens Point and scoring a goal in the matchup with Lakeland.
Academic All-District® honorees now advance for consideration on the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Finalists will be voted on by CSC members, with first-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees scheduled to be announced on December 9, 2025.
