MEQUON, Wis. - The Concordia University Wisconsin Athletics Department, under the leadership of Dr. Rob Barnhill, has announced the promotion of Caitlin Lowery as the acrobatics & tumbling head coach.
Lowery excelled as the interim head coach of the Concordia Wisconsin acrobatics & tumbling team in the 2025 season.
"I am pleased to announce the removal of the interim tag from Caitlin's name," said Director of Athletics Dr. Rob Barnhill. "She has earned the opportunity to lead CUW acrobatics and tumbling through her hard work, dedication, and commitment during this season. The team performed well, and Caitlin accepted the responsibility of being a first-time head coach with grace, humility, and professionalism. I look forward to great things in our acro program under her guidance."
The Falcons soared in the 2025 season under the command of coach Lowery.
"The team exceeded any expectations I could've possibly put on this season during my interim year," said Caitlin Lowrey. "I am overjoyed to continue growing with this program and looking to take them as far as I can. I am extremely blessed to continue my career at Concordia."
Concordia Wisconsin had its best start in program history with a 5-0 start with victories over Trine, Buffalo State, Calvin, and two over Adrian.
The Blue and White advanced all the way to the NCATA Division III Invitational Semifinals.
The Falcons finished the year with a 6-3 record.
Under her guidance, the Falcons soared in the classroom and had 11 NCATA Academic Honor Roll selections, and four were also named to the NCATA Division II All-Academic Team.
Lowery brought a wealth of experience and knowledge, having been a standout student-athlete at West Liberty University in West Liberty, West Virginia.
