Trine Tops Acrobatics & Tumbling in Season Opener

MEQUON, Wis. - The Falcons were finally back in action on Sunday afternoon. The Concordia Wisconsin acrobatics & tumbling team opened the 2026 campaign on Sunday against Trine. The Thunder snuck away with a 211.955 to 202.530 victory.

The Falcons posted the high score in seven heats on Sunday.

Concordia opened the day with 26.950 points in the compulsory event. CUW posted a score of 9.200 points in the pyramid heat.

The Falcons soared back into the lead with 23.50 points in the acro event. The seven-element heat shined with 8.45 points.

Concordia collected 24.65 points in the pyramid event, highlighted by 9.70 points in the open pyramid.

CUW started the second half with 22.90 points in the toss event.

The tumbling event saw the Falcons finish with 37.550 points. Junior Cadia Sanders (Joppa, Md.) finished with 7.825 points in the open pass.

The Birds closed the day with 66.980 points in the team event.

The Falcons look to bounce back on Saturday against Adrian.
