Acrobatics & Tumbling Claims NCATA Academic Honors

MEQUON, Wis. – A record-setting season for the Concordia University Wisconsin acrobatics & tumbling team extended into the classroom, as the Falcons earned a program-best showing in the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) postseason academic awards.

Highlighting the group was senior Ainslee Taylor (Alto, Mich.), who became the first student-athlete in program history to be named to the NCATA All-Academic Team. The honor is reserved for those who combine elite academic achievement with standout performances in competition.

Taylor closed her career as one of the most accomplished student-athletes in program history, earning All-Academic Team recognition while helping lead the Falcons to one of their most successful seasons.

She was joined by fellow senior Jadyn Vail (Belvidere, Ill.), as the duo each earned academic honors for the fourth time in their careers, setting the standard for consistency and excellence within the program. Junior Cadia Sanders (Joppa, Md.) added her third consecutive selection, while senior Emily Ruka (Racine, Wis.) and sophomore Alayna Schroeder (Hilbert, Wis.) each earned their second career honors.

Eight Falcons collected the distinction for the first time, including Kirsten Bailey (Andover, Minn.), Prudence Conquest (Colorado Springs, Colo.), Natalie DeBlaey (Toluca, Ill.), Frankie Evitch (Menomonee Falls, Wis.), Nibras Jarrar (Stuart, Fla.), Alaina Kreuger, Emma Pawlak (West Milwaukee, Wis.) and Lydia Street (Milbank, S.D.), showcasing the depth and future of the program.

In total, Concordia Wisconsin placed 13 student-athletes on the NCATA Honor Roll, breaking the previous program record of 12 set in both 2021 and 2024.

Under head coach Caitlin Lowery, the Falcons paired their academic success with a standout season on the mat, finishing 6-3 and advancing to the NCATA Division III Invitational Finals. The season marked a significant step forward for the program, as Concordia Wisconsin continued to establish itself among the top teams at the Division III level.
