MARSHALL, Texas – The Concordia Wisconsin acrobatics and tumbling team wrapped up the 2026 season on Saturday at the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) Division III Invitational. The Falcons fielded seven heats in the event finals on Saturday morning and closed the day in the championship meet against the 13th-ranks Crusaders of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
The Falcons opened the day competing in the five-element acro, six-element acro, seven-element acro, synchronized pyramids, open toss, duo pass and quad pass.
Concordia closed the day competing in the NCATA Division III Invitational Finals for the first time since winning the title in 2022.
The Falcons opened up the evening session with 28.40 points in the compulsory event, highlighted by a 9.45 points in the pyramid heat and 9.075 points in the toss heat.
CUW collected 23.525 points in the acro event on Saturday evening.
Concordia beat Mary-Hardin Baylor with 26.00 points in the pyramid heat. The heat was highlighted by 9.500 points in the synchronized pyramid that crushed the Crusaders by more than three points.
The Falcons added 23.20 points in the toss event on Saturday night.
The tumbling event recorded 40.525 points for the Falcons.
Concordia closed the season with 72.76 points in the team event to finish with 214.410 points
No. 13 Mary Hardin-Baylor claimed its fourth-straight title with 252.935 points.
Saturday night marked the end of the storied careers of Emily Ruka, Jadyn Vail, Ainslee Taylor, Emma Pawlak and MarieDelCarmen Betancourt. The class finishes with 17 victories, the second most in program history.
Concordia Wisconsin finishes the season with a 6-3 record and will return again for the 2027 season.
