MEQUON, Wis. – The Concordia University Wisconsin acrobatics and tumbling team continued its upward trajectory during the 2025-26 campaign, finishing with a 6-3 overall record while earning national recognition both on the mat and in the classroom.
The Falcons earned their first victory on February 21 with a dominant 212.435-112.850 triumph over Adrian. The performance set the tone for a season that featured consistent improvement and several milestone accomplishments.
Throughout the year, Concordia showcased depth across every event, resulting in multiple weekly honors from the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA).
Emily Ruka earned NCATA Division III Specialist of the Week honors twice during the season, receiving the award for the weeks of February 18 and March 25 after delivering standout performances.
Program history was made during the week of March 18, when Concordia swept all three NCATA Division III weekly awards for the first time. Ainslee Taylor was named Division III Athlete of the Week, Gabby Dixon collected Specialist of the Week honors, and Frankie Evitch was recognized as Freshman of the Week, highlighting the depth and talent throughout the Falcons' lineup.
The Falcons carried that momentum into postseason competition at the NCATA Division III Touranment. Concordia opened the tournament by defeating Trine 216.635-203.580 in the semifinal round to advance to the championship finals.
In the event finals, the Falcons qualified for seven individual heats, demonstrating their consistency across multiple events against the nation's top Division III programs. Concordia's season concluded with a runner-up finish after falling to 13th-ranked Mary Hardin-Baylor in the championship finals.
Several Falcons were recognized for their postseason performances. Taylor and Jadyn Vail were each selected to the NCATA Division III All-Tournament First Team, while Ruka earned Second Team All-Tournament honors.
The Falcons also excelled academically throughout the season.
Taylor earned a spot on the prestigious NCATA All-Academic Team, further highlighting her outstanding accomplishments both athletically and academically.
Concordia placed 12 student-athletes on the NCATA Honor Roll: Taylor, Vail, Cadia Sanders, Ruka, Alayna Schroeder, Kirsten Bailey, Prudence Conquest, Natalie Deblaey, Evitch,
Nibras Jarrar,
Emma Pawlak, and
Lydia Street.
With six victories, historic weekly award sweeps, a runner-up finish at the NCATA Division III Tournament, and continued excellence in the classroom, the 2025-26 season represented another successful chapter for the Falcons as the program continues to establish itself among the nation's top Division III acrobatics and tumbling teams.
