Box Score MADISON, Wis. – The Concordia Wisconsin women's tennis team fell short on Tuesday in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) battle. The 0-7 loss sends the Falcons to 3-3 on the year and 3-2 in the NACC.
The Eagles took all three double matches on Tuesday. Freshman Abigail Haley (Frohna, Mo.) and sophomore Katelyn de Guzman (Belvidere, Ill.) put up a 6-4 battle at No. 3 doubles.
Freshman Claire Kelly (Dubuque, Iowa) claimed a 6-3 victory in the first set at No. 1 singles.
Senior Maddie Brashaw (Sheboygan, Wis.) forced a third set with a 6—4 victory in the second set on court two.
Abigail Haley picked up a 6-3 victory in the first set at No. 4 singles.
The Falcons return to action on Friday at the ITA Midwest Regional Championships in Saint Peter, Minnesota. Team action resumes on Sept. 23 at home against Illinois Tech.
