MEQUON, Wis. – On Wednesday morning, the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its cross country weekly honors. Isaiah Lubner was voted as the NACC Student-Athlete of the Week for men's cross country by the league's athletic communications professionals.
A junior from Campbellsport, Wisconsin, Isaiah Lubner is claiming his first honor of the season. This is the second time that he has been honored by the conference. He also claimed an honor in track & field.
Lubner soared to the individual title at the Ken Weidt Classic on Saturday.
He finished in first place with a career-best time of 25:54.5.
Martin Erl was in second place at 26:28.9.
Lubner and the Falcons return to action on Oct. 3 at the Blugold Invitational.
