NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its Men's Wrestling Student-Athlete of the Week honors on Tuesday afternoon. The conference announced Ben Kaus as the holder of the honor.
A freshman from Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, Ben Kaus as the CCIW Men's Wrestling Student-Athlete of the Week for the first time in his career.
He is the first Falcon to claim the honor this season.
The Menomonee Falls native posted a pair of victories at the Northern Athletic Collegiate Conference (NACC) Showcase Duals last Friday at MSOE.
In CUW's opening dual against Aurora, he recorded a pin of Alex Gochis at 6:22.
He followed that up with an 11-1 major decision over Lakeland's Carson Smith.
Kaus and the Falcons return to action this weekend at the CCIW Championship in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
